Dan “Rudi” Ruddell

Conservation Biologist, Stream Scientist

Dan received a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College in 1981 and a Master’s from Antioch New England in 2006 in Conservation Biology. His Master’s thesis included a GIS-based assessment of butternut health in relation to site calcium levels in Vermont.

Having also completed coursework in hydrology, wetlands, and natural resource inventory methods, Rudi has taken a lead on Redstart’s stream geomorphic assessment work, baseline documentation, and all projects requiring advanced use of GIS, statistics, and botany. He lives in Tunbridge, VT, where he is a member of the planning commission and a town lister.
