Courtney received a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology with a minor in Environmental Science from Dickinson College in 2009. Later that year, she began working for Redstart with a focus on stream assessment, project development, and ecological restoration. After three years of working for Redstart, Courtney’s interest in forestry began to grow. She returned to school and earned an Associate’s degree in Forest Technology from Paul Smith’s College in 2013. Since then, Courtney has used her broad knowledge base to help a wide range of clients accomplish goals related to forestry, invasive plant control, and stream health.
